Nowadays, flow boiling is one of the most applicable thermal processes in various industries, despite several accidents that can take place due to dryout phenomenon from safety viewpoint. In the current research, forced boiling flow in the presence of a twisted tape in the flow field has been examined by employing the benefits of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) accompanied by RPI approach. More uniform bulk temperature and lower wall temperature along the twisted tape tube was evidenced as a result of higher flow mixing. It should be noted that insertion of the twisted tape can decrease the fluid volume in the tube which has been represented in the form of contours. Thermal field of boiling flow is positively affected by the insertion of twisted tape to the flow field. These all together lead to higher safety aspects of the systems.
