Dairy wastewater is daily produced therefore is one of the main environmental pollutants. Chees whey wastewater (CWW) is a strong organic and saline effluent that is produced during cheese making process. This work render a new system for dairy wastewater treatment based on cheap materials whit high stability. This system is modification of polyester by application of chitosan (CS) solution gel and powdered activated carbon functionalized (PAC-OH). The effect of powdered activated carbon (PAC) size investigated on the flux reduction. Results showed reduction PAC size coused flux decreasing and COD removal incresed.
