In this study we investigated EFL textbooks of “Vision Series” (Vision 1 and Vision 2), which are currently developed for senior high schools to be used across Iran. We followed from the pattern proposed by Litz (2005) to study the text book under 100 teachers’ viewpoints. The results of the study showed that the textbook is considered as partially efficacious in average by the teachers who participated in the study. Nonetheless, this series seem to be in dire need of improvement regarding the presentation of skills and cultural norms. More details of the views on various component parts of the series and their implications and application are presented in the paper.
