In this study, we indicated a method of preparing semi-interpenetrating polymer network (semi- IPN) through in situ
polymerization of polysulfone(PSU) within epoxy resin-hardener. Polysulfone was blended with epoxy resin-hardener
and then was coated on sheets of plain carbon steel (ST-13) at specified time intervals.The EIS (electrochemical
impedance spectroscopy) was performed to confirm the corrosion resistance property. Samples containing 0.5 %wt
polysulfone obtained 4b standard in scratch testing which is caused by a scratch-resistant polymer coating. In order to
increase anti-corrosion properties of coatings, composite coatings prepared by graphene dispersion in the polymer
matrix which contain mixture of poly sulfone epoxy. In order to investigate the dispertion of graphene in a polymer
matrix, TEM and SEM analysis were performed. This Improvement in corresion properties was achieved by adding
graphene in the composite coatings.
