The bioavailability and stability of a drug can be affected by materials used for extraction of drug in pharmaceutical process [1]. Choline carboxylic acids are new type of salts which have unique properties such as high thermal stability, very small vapor pressure and have been used as green and biocompatible salts for many industrial applications [1]. The investigation of vapor-liquid equilibrium properties play an important role to describe intermolecular interactions in the electrolyte solutions [2]. In this study, water activity and vapor pressure for ternary ([Ch][bi] + diphenhydramine + water) systems have been determined by the isopiestic method. Interactions between diphenhydramine and cholinium bi-tartrate in aqueous solutions at T = 298.15 K have been investigated by the help of vapor-liquid equilibrium data.
