Intelligent Collage Maker

A collage picture is an artwork that is the artistic process of gluing and assembling various materials to a flat surface named canvas. It takes some weeks for an artist to create it from lots of materials. Computers can make the same collage in the seconds without using any actual materials. This technique can replace a skilled artist who knows how to create a beautiful collage. In this paper, we proposed an intelligent based collage maker method by using a couple of image processing techniques. We used some preprocessing techniques to prepare the background image and then the fitting areas extracted from set of images as the composed materials. Experimental results show artistic collages are made from the proposed method which its beauty performance is a challenge of both human and computers.
