Due to increasing in IOT demand and evolution of IOT, different solutions have been presented recently. Wireless communication technology with enough data rate, long range, and low battery consumption called Low Power WAN. One of the licensed spectrum technology is NB-IOT with main specification like long battery life, wide coverage, high capacity and narrowband transmission. NB-IOT is a new version of 3rd Generation Project Partnership radio technology standard that addresses the requirements of IOT. Survey of physical layer, downlink and uplink channel of NB-IOT based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) and comparison between different LPWAN technologies with NB-IOT are described
