چكيده فارسي :
In this paper FACTS device allocation problem is modeled and solved to improve voltage stability and loss reduction. Target devices considered are Thyristor Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC) and static synchronous compensator (STATCOM). Voltage stability is monitored by line stability index in the objective function. Also for secure operation, marginal stability condition is constrained. To solve the nonlinear optimization problem, Multi Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (MOPSO) is used. Numerical Studies is established on IEEE 30-bus system to show the effect of each device and is presented in 3 different cases including, TCSC allocation, STATCOM allocation and simultaneous allocation of both devices.
