Petroleum is composed of various organic materials; these organic materials are derived from kerogen, based on materials of plant or animal remains substances under the influence of temperature and pressure for several million years. The kerogen in the source rock is the origin of organic material called bitumen, which could loses the light organic matter and only heavy cuts of hydrocarbon remain in it. The petroleum has four main parts: saturated, aromatic, resin and asphaltenes. asphaltene and resin in the petroleum contain oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur, and also contain metals such as nickel, vanadium, iron and other heavy metals. Using obtained chromatograms of aromatic and especially saturated from gas chromatography and using of Pri / C17 vs Phy / C18, ratio graph, the amount of maturity, oxidation and reduction environment of petroleum s are detected. The star graph of CPI, Pri / C17, Phy / C18 plus odd carbon over to event carbon numbers ratio from 19 to 32, illustrate the similarities and differences of petroleum`s together. The Carbon No.27, 28, 29 obtained from GC-mass chromatogram in m/z=217 respectively with the symbol of ααα20R illustrate the marine, lake and terrestrial petroleum ecosystem generation. In this research three petroleum samples with names of X, Y, Z was studied. The result of this study showed that the source of the oil produced was all of the origins of the marine ecosystem and appears in an oxidative environment. According to the results of the star chart, they are very similar to each other.
