چكيده فارسي :
شعر، فرزند طبيعت است و در آغوش طبيعت رشد و پرورش يافته است .طبيعت از ديرباز الهام بخش شاعران بوده و توانسته است جايگاه ويژه اي را در سروده هاي شاعران به خود اختصا ص دهد؛ به طوري كه كمتر ديوان شاعري را مي توان يافت كه سخني از طبيعت در آن نباشد يكي از مضامين اصلي ادب غنايي ، توصيف طبيعت است . آنچه در اين پژوهش مورد بررسي قرارخواهد گرفت، طبيعت و پاره اي از عناصر مهم آن در شعر امروالقيس، شاعر پرآوازه عرب در دوره جاهليت و نيما يوشيج شاعر ايراني شعر نو مي باشد . نتايج نشان داد شخصيت نيما يكي از اساسي ترين عوامل است و طبيعتا در ساختار انديشه و افكار او تاثير زيادي داشته است يكي از دلايل برجسته شعر نيما مرهون عنصر طبيعت در آن است. نيما با تاكيد بر نظام چند معنايى زمينه اصلى كارش را بر سرودن شعرسمبليك متمركز مى كند . علاوه بر اين آنچه طبيعت گرايى نيما را از شاعران ديگر متفاوت مى كند در اين است كه نيما تصاوير را از جهان خارج از ذهن مي گيرد و در آنها دخل و تصرف شاعرانه مى كند لذا در شعر او عين گرايى بر ذهن گرايى غلبه دارد . درباره امروالقيس ، طبيعت ركن جدايي ناپذير شعر او است .در توصيف و تعريف طبيعت امروالقيس ، بيشتر از هر صفتي از تشبيه ياري گرفته و در اين مسير استادي خويش را بر همگان به اثبات رسانده است . شب در اشعار امروالقيس پديده اي پر از راز و رمز است . او شب را ابزاري براي آزمايش صبر و تحمل مي داند
