Leaching and deep percolation solution in soil was one of problems, when we used wastewater. The
objectives of this study were to investigate, Cl- and HCO3- deep percolating of application of the leachate
and the clinoptilolite zeolite. For this purpose, a complete randomized block design experiment was used
with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Irrigation water depth was taken 20 mm and irrigation interval was
three days for a 12 times period. The treatments were: T1- Soil irrigated with fresh water (control), T2- Soil
irrigated with leachate, T3- Soil mixed with 5% Zeolite (Semnan zeolite) irrigated with leachate, T4- Soil
mixed with 10% Zeolite irrigated with leachate. HCO3- was absorbed in topsoil but Cl- was absorbed in
subsoil .It was significant difference at the 1percent level . T4 caused more absorption these elements as
compared to T3. HCO3- and Cl- concentration in drain water increases with increases irrigation events.
