In this paper, we address the problem of spectrum
sensing of received signal in the passive surveillant systems. The
received signal is assumed to be completely unknown. We use the
two-stage spectrum sensing method to facilitate the detection
operation in the passive radars. Moreover, the proposed
spectrum analyzer in the passive radar is compared with the onestage
spectrum sensing. Analytical and numerical results show
that this method reduces the computational complexity and
estimates the frequency characteristics accurately.
