The main aim of this research was to explore the impact of type of tasks on Iranian extroverted and introverted EFL Learners vocabulary retention. To meet the aim, 110 students were selected through a standard proficiency test (the Nelson Proficiency Test). The Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) was administered, it became clear that10 subjects were ambivert (neither extravert nor introvert). Data analysis indicated that, there wasn t significant difference between Iranian EFL extroverted and introverted learners in using different type of tasks based on their score in vocabulary retention test.
