Cupric oxide (CuO), having a variety of chemo-physical properties. CuO nanostructures have unique magnetic and super-hydrophobic properties. In this research, we have investigated the use of leaf extract to synthesize CuO nanoparticles (CuO-NPs) by low temperature and facile method. The aqueous solution of artemisia extract with Cu2+ ions was mixed at room temperature. The effect of pH on ended products was investigated using the ammonia solution. The CuO-NPs were confirmed for their nano structure through PXRD and SEM image. Moreover, the application of nano cupric oxide as adsorbent for the removal of heavy metals was studied.
