In this research, nanoclay has been used to isolate (remove) paint from textile wastewater. First, optimization of adsorbent concentration parameters, sample color concentration under analysis, pH effect, effect of agitator speed, temperature effect and extraction time were investigated and finally the deletion was done on the actual waste from the dyeing process of the fabric. The optimum value of adsorbent dose and pH were found to be 60 mg L-1 and 7, respectively. Temperature showed a significant effect, with maximum dye removal being observed at 50°C. In order to evaluate and analyze the results, Langmuir adsorption isotherms were prepared for different conditions and the parameters q, Ce, 1/q and 1/Ce were investigated. The results show a high efficiency of 96% in removing the dye group in this wastewater sample, which can be applied in industry and on a larger scale.
