Abstract This paper investigates linguistic errors in the content of Newly Published Senior High School English Books. The newly-published English booksVision1(1395) for the 10th graders of our high schools are full of syntactic and semantic errors to the extent that they lack both face and content validity in order to be taught in our high schools. The syntactic errors have been studied under the topics of: overt and covert errors. These errors have been discussed under the titles: omission, addition, and substitution. The semantic types also include cohesion and coherence which have been dealt within this article. Erroneous sentences in these books will become a part of the students.
