Investigating the impact of Environment Dynamic on Strategic innovation: focused the intermediation role of Strategic flexibility

Today’s innovation performance is one of the key factors of knowledge base organizations Survival. Innovations in their performance make them to maintain a competitive advantage and organizational development. A new competitive landscape requires businesses to adapt quickly to changeable conditions. In other words, businesses need strategic flexibility. Strategic flexibility refers to an ability of firms to respond and adapt to environmental changes. Strategic flexibility enables firms many advantages. Innovation can be either explorative or exploitative innovations. This article seeks to develop a systematic framework about environment dynamism with mediator role of strategic flexibility and strategic innovation in Iranian knowledge base organizations and trying to broaden the frontiers of knowledge in this area. This study, based on aim, is an applicable research, and based on data collection method, it is a descriptive research. The using data was gathered by random sampling from knowledge base organizations in Information Technology in Iran by questionnaire. In addition, considering its data analysis method, it is a structural equation based research using Smart PLS software. The results indicate that in Iranian organizations, dynamic environment and strategic flexibility have impact on strategic innovation.
