Increase in the user’s requirements to web services and producing different services, optimal web service selection has been become too important. Hence, a method is recommended for selecting optimal web service in this study. At the first, FRPSO algorithm is proposed for a task with 50 candidate web services. The results of this algorithm are compared with two other techniques (namely, SA and PSO). As diagram, FRPSO owns higher performance than SA and PSO. Then, a new technique is suggested for pruning additional investigations (in stage of finding candidate plans in composite services). Finally, this candidate plans as inputs are given to TOPSIS and a new hybrid method. Their outputs will be optimal composite services. Experimental results show that this hybrid method is suitable and efficient.
