بهبود كنتراست تصوير با استفاده از متعادل سازي و برش هيستوگرام

علم پردازش تصوير در چند دهه اخير از هر دو جنبه نظري و عملي پيشرفت هاي چشمگيري داشته است. سرعت اين پيشرفت به اندازه اي بوده است كه هم اكنون، به راحتي ميتوان رد پاي پردازش تصوير را در بسياري از علوم و صنايع مشاهده نمود. بعضي از اين كاربردها آنچنان به پردازش تصوير وابسته هستند كه بدون آن، اساسا قابل استفاده نمي باشند. بهبود كنتراست تصوير يكي از مهمترين عملياتي اسـت كـه در كاربردهـاي پـردازش تصـوير و بينـايي ماشـين مـورد اسـتفاده قـرارمي گيرد. هدف از بهبود كنتراست تصوير، بهبود وضوح لبه ها و تاكيد بر روي دسته اي از ويژگي ها است كه در درك يك تصوير توسط سيستم بينايي انسان تاثير زيادي دارد. متعادل سازي هيستوگرام يك تكنيك ساده و مؤثر بهبود تصوير مي باشد. ولي در برخي شرايط، روشنايي تصوير بطور قابل توجهي بعد از فرآيند متعادل سازي، ممكن است تغيير يابد و از حالت طبيعي خارج گردد. در اين مقاله به منظور افزايش كيفيت تصاوير با حفظ طبيعي بودن تصوير، از روش متعادل سازي و برش هيستوگرام در فضاي رنگيHSV استفاده شده است. روش ارائه شده بر روي چندين تصوير استاندارد تست و نتايج حاصل از آن با روش هاي متداول مورد مقايسه قرار گرفته است. نتايج بدست آمده نشان دهنده بهبود تصوير با حفظ طبيعي بودن تصوير مي باشد.

In the last few decades, the science of image processing has made remarkable progress in both theoretical and practical aspects. This development has been so fast now, one can easily image processing footprint to be seen in many science and industry. Some of these applications are related to image processing so that without it, basically cannot be used. Improve image contrast is one of the most important operations in image processing and machine vision applications used. The goal is to improve the contrast of the image, improve the clarity of the edges, and emphasize the bunch of features that impact on understanding an image by the human visual system. Histogram equalization is a simple and effective technique to improve the image. But in some situations, the brightness of the image considerably after the equalization process may be changed and distorted. In this paper, the method of equalization and clipping the histogram in the color space of the HSV is used to enhance the contrast of the images while preserving the brightness of the image. The proposed method is compared to several standard test images and its results are compared with conventional methods. The results showed an improvement in the image while preserving the naturalness of the image.
