The Typology of Narrative Murals of Imamzadeh Yazdelan in Kashan, Belonging to Qajar Era

بقعه شاهزاده زين الدين معروف به امامزاده يزدلان در روستايي به همين نام در شش كيلومتري شهرابوزيدآباد و حدود سي كيلومتري جنوب شرق كاشان قراردارد. بناي اين امامزاده داراي دو ايوان به نام هاي ايوان بادرود و ايوان قبله است كه سطح ديوارهاي آن ها و همچنين ديوارهاي زير گنيد مزين به نقاشي هاي مذهبي هستند .اين نقاشي ها از نظر سبكي متعلق به دوره قاجار بوده و البته مرمت هاي غير اصولي صورت گرفته در سال يك هزار و سيصد و هفتاد و نه شمسي به اصالت آن ها آسيب جدي وارد كرده است. مقاله پيش رو با هدف گونه شناسي،مستند سازي و جاي نمايي ديوارنگارههاي اين امامزاده و به ويژه ديوارنگاره هاي روايي آن سامان يافته است.سوالات اصلي اين تحقيق عبارتند از: ديوارنگاره هاي امامزاده يزدلان به چند دسته تقسيم مي شوند؟ ديوارنگاره هاي روايي آن كدامند و به چه موضوعات يا داستان هايي اشاره دارند؟ پژوهش به روش تحليلي/توصيفي تدوين شده است و در نوع خود اولين پژوهشي است كه به صورت متمركز در مورد آرايه هاي اين امامزاده صورت گرفته است. با توجه به مساله محور بودن تحقيق ، بر فرضيه خاصي تكيه ندارد و نتايج حاصل از آن نشان مي دهد كه ديوارنگاره هاي اين امامزاده به پنج دسته نقوش انساني، نقوش حيواني (حيوانات تركيبي مانند براق يا داراي ما به ازا خارجي)، نقوش منظره پرداز، تركيبات گياه و حيوان (مانند سرو مرغدار) و نقوش انتزاع شده (مانند اسليمي و ختايي) تقسيم مي شوند. نقوش انساني اين امامزاده همگي در بطن يك روايت به تصوير كشيده شده اند و بر همين اساس ديوارنگاره هاي روايي آن را مي توان به چهار دسته مجزا تقسيم كرد: روايت هاي عاشورايي از جمله (روايت حضرت عباس(ع) سقاي كربلا، روايت امام حسين و شهادت علي اكبر(ع)، و غيره)، روايات مربوط به پيامبر (ص) مانند: معراج حضرت رسول(ص) و روايت پيامبر(ص) وحسنين)، روايات مربوط به حضرت علي(ع) و روايت مربوط به حضرت رضا (ع) (ضامن آهو) مي باشند.

The Shahzadeh Zeinodin mausoleum, known as Imamzadeh Yazdelan , is located in a village with the same name (6kmof AbuzeidAbad town and about 30 km ofsouth-east Kashan). This building has two verandas known as Badroud and Qiblah that the surface of their walls as well as the walls below the dome are decorated with religious paintings. Regarding the style, these paintings belong to Qajar era, although unscientific restorations carried out in 2000 have damaged their originality severely. The aim of this paper is to provide a typology, documentation and positioning of the murals of this Imamzadeh, especially the narrative ones. The main questions of this study are: 1) to how many classes are the murals of Imamzadeh Yazdelan divided? 2) which murals are narrative and to which subjects or tales do they point? The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and it is the first and only study which deals with the decorations of this building exclusively. Since this study is problem-based, it does not follow any particular hypothesis and its results show that the murals of this Imamzadeh can be divided into five classes concerning their motifs: human motifs, animal motifs (composite animals like Boraq or real animals), landscape motifs, combinations of animal and plant motifs (like bird on the cypress) and abstract motifs (like arabesque and Cathay). The human motifs of this Imamzadeh have all been visualized within the context of a narrative and, based on this, its narrative murals can be divided into four groups: Ashuraei narratives (like the narrative of Abbas (PBUH), Imam Husein (PBUH), the martyrdom of AliAkbar etc.,) narratives related to the Prophet (like the narratives of his Ascension and the narrative of the Prophet and Hasanein), narratives related to Imam Ali (PBUH), and narratives related to Imam Reza (PBUH).
