Since the industrial revolution, Water pollution including wastewater has attracted researchers attention. An efficient and environmentally-friendly study has been developed for the green synthesis of CuO nanoparticles (NPs) by aqueous extract of Aloe Vera and Gundelia tournefortii as a lead-off heavy metal sorbent. CuO NPs were characterized by XRD, FESEM and FT-IR spectroscopy. Absorption experiments were performed on aqueous solutions at different concentrations and PH. The removal rate of Pb2+ was investigated by Atomic absorption system. According to the results, different conditions for removal of lead ions were considered and the green synthesized CuO NPs presented excellent Photocatalytic activity for removing Pb2+ from wastewater.
