thermal decomposition and chemical ionization of N- amino phthalimide was studied using ion mobility spectrometry. The instrument was equipped with a continuous corona discharge ionization source in positive mode. in addition to the parent product ion peak two fragment ion peaks and also several adduct ion peaks were observed in the ion mobility spectrum. the effect of injection port temperature on the intensities of fragment and adduct ion peaks were identified using mass-to-mobility correlation with two standard masses.
