Highly dispersed MnO2 nanoparticles supported on the graphene oxide have been prepared by a simple method and used as an efficient FA decomposition catalyst for hydrogen generation for carmoisine dye removal from aqueous solution. The morphology, chemical structure of the nanocomposite were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning electronic microscope (SEM). Adsorption of carmoisine dye onto Graphene Oxide – MnO2 was investigated with respect to pH, adsorption time, initial carmoisine dye concentration and temperature. Kinetics data and adsorption isotherm, obtained at the optimum pH 5 for carmoisine, were better fitted by pseudo-second-order kinetic model and by freundlich isotherm [1-4].
