We consider the order statistics coming from the weightedexponential distribution. We derive the means, variances and co-variances of order statistics from the standard weighted exponen-tial distribution. Then, we discuss the best linear unbiased esti-mation of the location and scale parameters by making use of thecomputed moments. A simulated example is also presented.
