Investigating the method of Punctuation in flower and bird painting by Lutf Ali Suratgar Shirazi

لطفعلي صورتگر شيرازي از نقاشان سنتي ساز قاجاري است كه در زمينه گل و مرغ، به واسطه ترسيم گل هاي صدپر و زنبق زيبايي معروفيت كسب كرد. در هنر گل و مرغ سازي براي ايجاد سايه روشن از روش پرداز يا نقطه‏پردازي استفاده مي‏كنند؛ البته پرداز در دوره هاي قبلي براي نگارگري كاربرد چشمگيري داشته و نقاطي از جمله صورت سازي و لباس با پردازهاي ظريفي اجرا مي شد. نوع و روش اجراي پرداز به مكتب و دوره تاريخي و حتي سبك هنرمند وابسته بود. اين پژوهش با هدف بررسي اينكه آيا لطفعلي صورتگر از روش هاي مختلفي براي پرداز گل و مرغ استفاده مي كرده است؟ و پرداز زدن لطفعلي صورتگر تك رنگ بوده و يا با چندين رنگ اجرا مي شده است؟ باتوجه به منابع مكتوب تاريخي و بررسي هاي تاريخي هنرمند، گل و مرغ و سبك هاي پرداز كه به روش كتابخانه اي انجام شده به جمع آوري مطالب پرداخته و سپس به صورت ميداني و با تحليل و بررسي ديداري چندين اثر به يك جمع بندي كلي دست پيدا كرديم. لطفعلي به نسبت هنرمندان هم دوره ي خود بيشتر به طبيعت واقعي وفادار بود و در آثارش با استفاده از انتخاب پرداز مناسب علاوه بر سايه روشن، لطافت و ضخامت گلبرگ ها، تاريكي و نور روي گلها و نوع پر پرندگان را به تصوير مي كشد. اين هنرمند توانا در اجراي پردازهاي بسيار ظريف با تك رنگ بر روي زمينه رنگي كاغذ آثاري زيبايي پديدآورد؛ كه ميتوان از ميزان علاقه وي به اين سبك آگاه شد. با اين وجود در آثار ديگري رنگهاي متشابه در طيف اي تيره و روشن مي توان ديد كه با پردازهاي متفاوت نوع لطافت و يا زبري را به بهترين حالت تداعي مي كند.

Lotf Ali Souratgar Shirazi was one of the pioneers of drawing flower and bird paintings using the pointillism technique in the Qajar dynasty, who became famous by drawing beautiful rosa centifolia and iris. In the flower and bird paintings, the method of pointillism has been employed to demonstrate the technique of chiaroscuro. Pointillism has been commonly used in courses of miniatures, especially when faces and clothes are the subjects of painting. They have been executed delicately by artists. The type and method of pointillism depend on the school, historical period, and even the style of the painters. This study aims to investigate whether Lotf Ali Suratgar used different methods to execute flower and bird paintings. And whether he used one color or several colors. The material has been collected from the written historical sources about the artist and examining his works in pointillism. Lotf Ali was more loyal to nature than the other artists of his time. In his works of art, he used suitable pointillism techniques to display the chiaroscuro, softness and thickness of the petals, light and darkness on the flower and bird’s feather motifs. The artist was a professional in using one color painting on the paper by executing the pointillism technique that showed his interest in the method. In his other works of art in pointillism, similar colors have been applied in a dark and light range which evokes softness and roughness at best.
