In recent years, the application of FMLs (Fiber Metal Laminates) composites has become widespread in various industries, especially aerospace. FML composites are types of layered composites, made of fiber reinforced composites and metal sheets. In this study, the tensile properties of glass laminate aluminum reinforced epoxy (GLARE) were investigated in moistures environment based on the experimental and FEM methods. Results showed that the mechanical properties of FML composite exposed to moisture decrease severely. Also, the texture of the composite fibers is damaged and the modulus of elasticity in dry environment is higher than in moisture environment.
