In this paper an adaptive fault tolerant controller for two recycle CSTRs with unknown nonlinear dynamic and unknown time delay in recycle stream in presence of infinite number of actuator failures and input saturation is addressed. In this work, the fault tolerant control (FTC) problem with actuator faults containing stuck, outage and loss of effectiveness has been considered. It has been assumed that the number of faults can be infinite. The neural network (NN) is applied to estimate the unknown system dynamics. It is proved that all closed-loop signals are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) and the output concentration tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin by choosing the design parameters appropriately. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme has been demonstrated via simulation study.
