Mixtures of aqueous alkanolamines and chemical addative as an activatore have been widely used in gas industry to removal of acid gases from natural gas. In this work, the new solubility experimental data of CO2 in the aqueous N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA)+ sulfolane system (I) and aqueous sulfolane system (II) were obtained. The compositions of 40-20-40 wt % for the MDEA-sufolane-water and 20-80 wt % for sulfolane-water systems were uaed. For the system (I), the measurements were carried out at 328.15, 343.15, 363.15 and 393.15 K. Accordingly, for the system (II), we obtained the solubility data at 328.15 and 393.15 K. Hence, the influence of temperature and using sulfolane as a physical solvent are investigated on loading of CO2 in mixed-solvent.
