One of the major aim in oil production companies is how to remove hydrogen sulfide (H2s) from crude oil. Nowadays, in most of production companies the stripper columns are used to achieve this aim. Performance of stripper column is directly depends on operating parameters such as temperature and pressure. This study concerns about the effects of temperature and pressure on performance of one of the stripper columns in one of the Iranian production units. For this goal, the unit was simulated by Petro-SIM simulator. The results show that by increasing the inlet oil temperature to the separator and stripper, reboil ratio and consequently performance of stripper column will be decreased. Pressure of first step separator can plays important role for improving the efficiency of stripper column.
