In this simulation, the CFD simulation was carried out liquid ditribution in the industrial scale trickle bed reactor (TBR) considering the distributors has 165 to 400 holes with a diameter of 5 to 10 mm and diffusers with 150 to 300 holes of 5 to 10 mm in diameter. CFD results for liquid distribution obtained for VL= 0.624m/s and VG = 0.0424, 0.2123 and 0.382 m/s which that ρL= 490 and ρG= 24 kg/m3. The distribution of liquid for the gas bubble diameter of 1, 0.1 and 0.01 mm was investigated. The results shown that distribution of the liquid is flattened with the small gas bubble diameter. The gas phase is channelized near the reactor wall if the inlet gas is very small. By increasing the rate of inlet gas, the liquid phase channelized to near of the reactor wall. It was also shown that if the free surface of the distributor and diffuser is larger, the radial gradient of the volume fraction of the liquid phase increased.
