A nano-composite hybrid hydrogel was prepared by incorporating the nano-zeolite (synthesized Y-type and natural
clinoptilolite) into a poly (AM-co-PA) hydrogel by the in situ polymerization method using N,N'-methylene
bisacrylamide as organic cross-linker. The methylene blue (MB) dye adsorption properties of this hybrid hydrogel were
investigated. The adsorptions of MB dye by the hydrogel increases as the loading of the nano-sized particles and dye
concentration increases. The hybrid hydrogel and hydrogel without any inorganic nano-particle were investigated by
FTIR. SEM and XRD were used to characterize the crystalline and microstructure of hybrid and organic hydrogels.
