چكيده يكي از طولاني ترين و جامع ترين و پر ابهامترين آياتي كه در قرآن كريم راجع به سحر، آيه 102 سوره بقره مي باشد. در اين آيه واژه اي آمده است كه به مكان اتفاقات مهمي در رابطه با سحر اشاره مي نمايد. اين مكان با توجه به نزول دو فرشته الهي براي ابطال سحر، بايد يكي از شاخص ترين مكان ها در وجود سحر و جادوگري بوده باشد، بنابراين، مقاله حاضر ابتدا حقيقت سحر و ميزان تاثير و نفوذ آن را بر روي افراد در بابل به كمك علم باستان شناسي، بررسي مي كند و سپس با بررسي ويژگي جغرافيايي اين منطقه به بيان رابطه بين سحر و موقعيت مكاني و جغرافيايي بابل در قرآن مي پردازد. در پايان به اين نتيجه مي رسد كه هرچند بسترهاي لازم تا حدودي در اين سرزمين وجود داشته اما اين، تمام علت در شيوع سحر و جادو در اين سرزمين نبوده است و علت واقعي، جهالت مردمي بوده كه همواره با ويراني بابل دوباره بت مردوك را كه نمادي براي ابطال سحر بوده در اين سرزمين مي پرستيده اند .اما گويي سايه وحشتناك اين مكان تا حدي زياد بوده كه حضرت علي عليه السلام وقتي به اين مكان وارد مي شود حاضر به خواندن نماز نمي گردد و همه را توصيه به خروج از اين مكان مي كند و باز به همين علت است كه پايان بابل شنيدني است و تا وقتي اين سرزمين جابجا نمي شود آفات بابل از بين نمي رود . .

It examines with the help of archeology and then by examining the geographical feature of this region, it expresses the relationship between Sahar and the geographical location of Babylon in the Qur an. In the end, it comes to the conclusion that although the necessary foundations existed to some extent in this land, this was not the whole reason for the spread of magic in this land, and the real reason was the ignorance of the people, who always re-created the Marduk idol with the destruction of Babylon. It is a symbol of canceling dawn and was worshiped in this land. But it is as if the terrible shadow of this place was so great that when Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) entered this place, he refused to pray and advised everyone to leave this place. and it is for this reason that the end of Babylon can be heard and the plagues of Babylon will not disappear until this land is moved. .
