    UV curable coatings are the major radiation curing systems. These type of coatings have been considered for many years. The advantages of these uv-curing systems include higher throughput, savings energy and reduced or eliminated solvent emission in comparison with solvent-based systems. In this study, waterborne polyurethane acrylic was synthesized by the modified prepolymer mixing process. This polyurethane acrylate was prepared from 2,2-bis (hydroxymethyl) propionic acid, poly(propylene glycol) (PPG), hexamethylen diisocyanate (HDI), 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) and triethyl amin (TEA).Fourier transform infrared Spectra (FT-IR) confirms the formation of polyurethane acrylate. In this system, water is used as chain-extender and dispersant.Then modified iron oxide with silica is dispersed in reaction´s mixture. These nanoparticles can improve the thermal and mechanical properties of this coating.
