Countless speakers have described the elements of nature with outstanding skill and remarkable variety. Wind, cloud, and rain are among the elements that poets have taken care of and have written many poems in their description and have presented beautiful images and similes of it. In this article, we intend to study and apply verses with these themes in Ode to the West Wind by Percy Bysshe Shelley and compare the characteristics of the West Wind with the east wind (Saba Wind) in Persian and Arabic works. In the poem of Ode to the West Wind, P.B Shelley considers the West Wind simultaneously destructive and protective, while in Persian poetry, Saba Wind has always promised to rejuvenate the land (harbinger of spring) and provide pleasure; The attention of these poets to the Saba Wind, which brings a pleasant scent with it, can be seen in abundance.
