The main target of the paper is solving generalized linear and nonlinear fourth-order two point boundary value problems. The operational matrix of derivative is obtained by introducing hybrid third kind Chebyshev polynomials and Block-pulse functions (HTKCPBPF). The present operational matrix method reduces these linear or nonlinear equations to a system of linear or nonlinear algebraic equations and again these algebraic system has been solved numerically by Tau method. Illustrative examples have been included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the technique.
