‎In this paper a stable numerical scheme for solving the two-dimensional time-fractional Burgers equation is presented‎. ‎We use the hybridized discontinuous Galerkin method and the L1 algorithm for spatial and temporal discretization‎, ‎respectively‎. ‎The stability analysis of the method is investigated through a theorem‎. ‎Moreover‎, ‎in an example‎, ‎we show that the expected temporal and spatial order is obtained by approximation solutions‎.
