In this paper, a Petro-Galerkin spectral method isproposed for the solution of nonlinear space fractional Fisher equation. The main idea is to use generalized Jacobi polynomials asbasis functions for spatial derivative in such a way that the boundary conditions are satisfied. The implicit Euler backward methodhas been used to construct fully discrete scheme. Numerical resultsshow the high accuracy and low CPU time of proposed method.
