‎In this paper‎, ‎we develop a numerical method based on the operational matrix of shifted Vieta-Lucas polynomials for solving Caputo fractional order of delay differential equations‎. ‎These equations are converted into a system of algebraic equations by the proposed method and using the operational matrix of corresponding fractional derivative‎. ‎Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the efficiency of the method‎.
