چكيده فارسي :
افت تحصيلي كه از معضلات و مشكلات نظام آموزشي مي باشد و به صورتهاي مختلف، مثل عدم موفقيت دانش آموزان در دستيابي به اهداف مقاطع تحصيلي مربوطه و يا مردودي و يا تكرار واحدهاي درسي مربوطه و ترك تحصيل زودرس و بلاتكليفي خود را نشان ميدهد. در مقابل افت تحصيلي نيزكاهش عملكرد تحصيلي دانش آموز از سطح رضايت بخش به سطح نامطلوب است و يكي از مشكلات عمده ي نظام هاي آموزشي در دنياي كنوني است به طوري كه هر سال مقادير زيادي از امكانات مالي و نيروهاي انساني، آموزشي و پرورشي به اين معضل اختصاص مييابد. براساس نظر معلمان در درجه اول مسائل خانوادگي و اجتماعي و سپس به ترتيب عدم توانايي وعدم كوشش سبب افت تحصيلي دانش آموزان شده است. در اين مقاله به بررسي مروري بر عوامل موثر برعملكرد تحصيلي (افت تحصيلي) دانش آموزان پرداخته شده است.افت تحصيلي يكي از مشكلات عمده ي نظام هاي آموزشي دردنياي كنوني است بطوري كه هر سال مقادير زيادي از امكانات مالي و نيروهاي انساني، آموزشي و پرورشي به اين معضل اختصاص مي يابد. براساس نظر معلمان در درجه اول مسائل خانوادگي و اجتماعي و سپس به ترتيب عدم توانايي و عدم كوشش سبب افت تحصيلي دانش آموزان شده است. از ديدگاه دانش آموزان علل شكست در مرتبه اول به عدم كوشش و درجه دوم و سوم به ترتيب مسائل خانوادگي و اجتماعي و عدم توانايي نسبت داده اند.
