The solubility of mesalamine in some choline chloride (ChCl) and N, N-diethyl ethanol ammonium chloride (DEAC) based DESs with ethylene glycol and propanediol was measured within the temperature range of 283.15 to 323.15 K. The results showed that the solubility was enhanced by increasing the temperature and increased to 15-30 fold in DESs rather than water. The experimental solubility data were accurately correlated using the local composition models such as Wilson and NRTL. Moreover, the two temperature-dependent Buchowski-Ksiazaczak λh and modified Apelblat equations were applied to correlate the present data.
