The voltammetry is one of the most sensitive electroanalytical methods, allowing the quantitative and qualitative measurement of trace amounts of heavy metals by measuring the current in terms of applied potential changes in a three-electrode system. In particular, when using a Dropping Mercury Electrode (DME) as the working electrode, a method known as polarography is well-known. In this study, various voltmeter measurement methods with DME and solid electrodes have been examined, and optimized methods have been proposed based on the obtained results. Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (ASV) and Cathodic Stripping Voltammetry (CSV) methods with a sensitivity of 10-10 mol, Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (D.P.A.S.V) and Differential Pulse Cathodic Stripping Voltammetry (D.P.C.S.V) with a sensitivity of 10-12 mol, and Differential Pulse Polarography (D.P.P) and Square Wave Polarography (SWP) with a sensitivity of 10-8 mol are recommended for research and partial quantity measurements.
