Social Studies of the Sea in Coastal Societies: Necessity or Obligation

پرداختن به فضاهاي دريايي به عنوان منبعي براي تامين انرژي ، فضايي براي گردشگري و اوقات فراغت، مكاني براي حمل و نقل و تجارت، فضايي به منظور تامين اقتصاد و معيشت و ارتباط با ساير كشورهاي دنيا و در نهايت فضايي براي بررسي موضوعات دريايي در دانشگاه ها نه يك ضرورت بلكه يك تكليف علمي و دانشگاهي، عقلاني و توسعه محور و اخلاقي است. هدف پژوهش حاضر پرداختن به موضوعي است كه به تازگي در فضاي گفتماني مطالعات آكادميك دانشگاهي مطرح شده است. روش پژوهش از نوع توصيفي- كتابخانه اي است و تلاش دارد كليه منابع را در خصوص ضرورت بحث مطالعات اجتماعي دريا مورد بررسي قرار دهد. در نهايت بررسي و مطالعه اجتماعي دريا به عنوان يكي از ابعاد مطالعات دريايي، پژوهشگران و صاحبنظران اين رشته را با مفاهيمي چون جامعه شناسي دريا يا جامعه شناسي در مورد موضوعات دريايي، آشنا مي كند. بنابراين اين مطالعه قصد دارد به بعدي از ابعاد مطالعاتي دريا كه به نظر مي رسد پيشتر كمتر به آن پرداخته شده بپردازد. در زمينه مطالعات اجتماعي دريا پارادايم هاي متفاوتي وجود دارد و همچنين رويكردهاي متفاوتي كه تلاش دارند چشم اندازهاي متفاوتي از توجه به دريا را به عنوان يك موضوع اجتماعي در اختيار صاحبنظران و پژوهشگران قرار دهد. اين مطالعات تلاش دارند درياها را شبيه به استعاره‌اي بدانند كه مي خواهد مجموعه اي از معاني و نمادها را به ما منتقل ‌كند.

Dealing with marine spaces as a source of energy supply, a space for tourism and leisure, a place for transportation and trade, a space to provide economy and livelihood and communication with other countries of the world, and finally a space for studying marine issues in universities. It is not a necessity but a scientific and academic task, rational and development-oriented, and moral. The purpose of the current research is to deal with a topic that has recently been raised in the discourse space of university academic studies. The research method is of a descriptive library type and tries to examine all the sources regarding the necessity of discussing the social studies of the sea. Finally, the study and social study of the sea as one of the dimensions of marine studies, introduces the researchers and experts of this field to concepts such as the sociology of the sea or the sociology of marine issues. Therefore, this study intends to deal with the next aspects of the study of the sea, which seems to have been less discussed before. In the field of social studies of the sea, there are different paradigms and also different approaches that try to provide experts and researchers with different perspectives of attention to the sea as a social issue. These studies try to consider the seas as a metaphor that wants to convey a set of meanings and symbols to us.
