چكيده فارسي :
شرايط سخت اقليمي اعم از گرما، خشكي، شوري و موارد ديگر به همراه محدوديت كمي وكيفي منابع آب مورد نياز براي فضاي سبز، حساسيت زيادي را ايجاد كرده است.بنابراين استفاده از گياهان بومي مقاوم به شرايط نامساعد اقليمي به عنوان يكي از راهكارهاي مهم مديريت فضاي سبز در اقليم هاي گرم و خشك مي‌باشد. علف مار با نام علمي Capparis spinosa از خانواده Capparidaceae مي باشد. اين گياه با نام هاي ديگري ار جمله كور، لگجي يا هندوانه كوهي نيز شناخته مي‌شود. اين گياه بوته‌اي خزنده با ساقه‌هاي منشعب و يكساله است كه در صورت مساعد بودن شرايط و عدم وجود سرماي شديد در زمستان مي‌تواند پايا و هميشه سبز باشد. اين گياه توانايي رشد در خاكهاي فقير را داشته و به دليل وجود سيستم ريشه‌اي گسترده و عميق توانايي زيادي براي تحمل خشكي و گرماي زياد دارد. ميوه‌ها، غنچه‌هاي گل و سرشاخه‌هاي جوان هندوانه كوهي به صورت خام يا فرآوري شده قابليت مصرف خوراكي دارد. قسمت‌هاي مختلف اين گياه از جمله ميوه، ريشه و پوست ريشه، خاصيت دارويي داشته و در طب سنتي و جديد از آن استفاده مي‌شود. اين گياه گلهاي زيبايي توليد مي‌كند كه جاذب زنبور عسل و پروانه‌ها است و ميوه‌ها و دانه‌هاي اين گياه منبع غذايي براي پرندگان و حشرات است. با توجه به خصوصيات مثبت ذكر شده و سازگاري اين گياه با اقليم گرم و خشك، گزينه بسيار مناسبي براي كاشت در حاشيه بزرگراه‌ها، رمپ‌ها و لوپ‌ها، سطوح شيبدار، ديواره‌هاي سبز و فلاورباكس‌ها است.

Harsh climatic conditions, such as heat, drought, salinity, etc., along with the quantitative and qualitative limitation of water resources for green spaces, have created great sensitivity. Therefore, one of the crucial solutions for managing green space in hot and dry climates is the use of native plants that are resistant to adverse climatic conditions. The caper bush with the scientific name of Capparis spinosa belongs to the Capparidaceae family. This plant is also known by other names such as Kavar, Flinders rose, or mountain watermelon. This plant is a creeping plant with branched and annual stems. Stability and evergreens can be achieved if the conditions are favorable and there is no severe cold in winter. This plant has the ability to grow in poor soils, and due to the existence of a wide and deep root system, it has a great ability to withstand drought and heat. The fruits, flower buds and young branches of caper can be eaten raw or processed. Various parts of this plant, including fruit, root, and bark, have medicinal properties and are utilized in both traditional and modern medicine. The beautiful flowers of this plant attract bees and butterflies, and the fruits and seeds of this plant are a source of food for birds and insects. Considering the mentioned positive characteristics and adaptation of this plant to hot and dry climate, it is a very suitable option for planting on the side of highways, ramps and loops, sloping surfaces, green walls and flower boxes.
