ESTIMATION OF A NONLINEAR SOURCE TERM FOR AN INVERSE PARABOLIC PROBLEM BY CONJUGATE GRADIENT METHOD

In this paper we estimate a nonlinear source term for an inverse parabolic problem using the final observations as overspecified data. The inverse problem is solved as an optimization problem where the objective function is minimized by conjugate gradient method (CGM) which is an iterative algorithm.
