Antimicrobial Activities Extract of Teucrium scordium Against Urinary infection

Teucrium scordium (Lamiaceae) used in traditional medicine for its diuretic, Antioxidants, Antipyretic, Diaphoretic, Antispasmodic, tonic, Anti-inflammatory, Antihypertensive, Analgesic, Antibacterial and Antidiabetic effects. This study shows that evulation antimicrobial activity of Teucrium scordium against some human pathogens.The antimicrobial activity of Teucrium scordium against various bacteria including Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella pnemoniae and Staphylococcus epidermis were investigated using Kirby- Bauer disk diffiusion and Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) methods.Highest antimicrobial of Metanolic Extract index [1.25 and lowest antibacterial index [10 Respectively on Proteus mirabilis and Klebsiella pnemoniae were obtained by MIC. Results of disk diffiusion showed that Staphylococcus epidermis was the most sensitive species, while Klebsiella pnemoniae was more resistant than others
