Since nanocomposite coatings exhibit significant properties, they have been used extensively in various industries in these past years. Among all of the nano particles that can be used in these matrices, the discovery of the MWCNTs has made substantial changes in the nanocomposite materials. As these nano particles have high aspect ratios, they can make rough structures on the surface. So this characteristic of these nanotubes can cause the change in the surface properties of the coatings which contains these nano particles. The aim of this work is to determine the changes in the wetting behavior of the epoxy nanocomposites containing MWCNT without any further functionalization of nanotubes by placing the samples under the specific dose of UV radiation. So by etching the surface of the coatings, the resin layer can be likely removed and MWCNTs expose to the surface of the coatings so it can influence its wetting behavior.
