APPLICATION OF BOUNDARY INTEGRAL EQUATION METHOD TO SOLVE AN INVERSE BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR THE HEAT EQUATION

In this paper we consider the initial boundary value problem for the heat equation with the Neumann boundary condition in a semiinfinite region. A regularized Newton method based on the boundary integral equation method is proposed for determining the finite boundary from Cauchy data on a part of the infinite boundary.
