TIGHT WAVELET FRAMES IN IMAGE PROCESSING

Several methods for edge detections is proposed by MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox. After review these methods, we introduce the construction of tight frames in the multivariate setting. Then show that tight wavelet frames are excellent for edge detection. In fact, the tight wavelet frame method is much more effectively. We shall use many examples to demonstrate the advantage of this method
