MODIFIED GAUSS-SEIDEL TYPE METHODS FOR M-MATRICES

In this paper, we define some precondition matrices for solving the linear system of equations by Gauss-Seidel method for M-matrices. The convergence and comparison theorems of the Gauss-Seidel method with these preconditioners for solving the linear systems are established. Moreover numerical examples are reported to confirm the theoretical analysis
