Electrical discharge is affected by medium field
behavior in which there is produced. The effect of flow
velocity field is studied in an experimental study using
an innovating setup and process. Air flow velocity
changes, leads to variations in electric discharge
behavior. Various operating conditions are investigated
to find a meaningful, repeatable and reliable relation
between electrical discharge and fluid flow properties.
Finally electrical discharge parameters are presented for
interpreting the air flow velocity in experimental setup.
The results show the potential of electrical discharge as
a measurement device in fluid flow anemometry.
